| What are Boomwhackers?
The Boomwhackers Tuned Percussion Tubes are brightly colored plastic tubes that are tuned by length to musical notes. They are affordably priced, easy to play and lots of fun!
SchoolDelay.com carries 6 different sets of the musical tubes. Five of the six sets combine to create 2 1/2 chromatic octaves. The sixth set, the C Major Pentatonic Scale, is a subset of the C Major Diatonic Scale.
The standard or higher octave rages in length from about 1 - 2 feet. The base octave ranges from about 2-4 feet. The Treble Extension Set ranges from less then a foot to about 8 inches long. The 1 3/4" diameter is a comfortable size to hold for young children and up through adult.
Everyone can play them and pro musicians thing they are a blast! Whack just about anyting and BOOM! - your are making music!
